Guava International was honored to participate in the strategic roundtable convened by Iskandar Regional Development Authority together with UN Global Compact Network Malaysia & Brunei and UN Global Compact Network Singapore to further strengthen economic integration and accelerate Green Economy initiatives within the Johor–Singapore Special Economic Zone (JS-SEZ).

The roundtable brought together stakeholders from both Malaysia and Singapore to exchange insights on sustainable growth opportunities, green investment, circular economy practices, talent development, logistics efficiency, and improving ease of doing business across borders.

Key highlights shared during the session included RM79 billion in investments recorded within the JS-SEZ in 2025, alongside targets of 50 projects and 20,000 new jobs within the next five years. Discussions also focused on high-impact sectors such as manufacturing, digital economy, healthcare, logistics, energy, and green technology, including the exploration of regulatory sandbox initiatives to accelerate innovation and sustainable solutions.

The session further emphasized the importance of cross-sector collaboration, climate resilience, recycling ecosystems, and smart technologies in shaping a more sustainable, competitive, and future-ready regional economy.
