Description

Are you a final year student or recent graduate passionate about sustainability and hospitality/travel industry?


Do you have past leadership experience and a strong ambition to grow into a leadership role?


Are you excited to join a global team that delivers real business value while creating positive impact for local communities and the environment?


Unlike typical business development internships focused only on lead generation, this program offers full exposure to the end-to-end B2B cycle, including outreach, solutioning, and project follow-up.


This internship is designed as a pathway to a full-time role, and therefore requires a minimum commitment of six months. Candidates who can commit for the full duration will be prioritized.


High-performing interns, upon successful completion of the program, may be considered for a full time role.


GUAVA International works with governments, destinations, regional and global partners across the travel, hospitality, and corporate sectors. This role offers hands-on experience in international business, sales, and regional project coordination in a fast-paced environment where initiative, collaboration, and attention to detail are essential.


What You’ll Gain

What You’ll Do
  • Support BD, Partnership, Sales, and Operations with outreach, coordination, planning, follow-ups, and reporting

  • Assist with proposals, presentations, and internal project materials

  • Track timelines, progress, and opportunities across regional initiatives

  • Collaborate with team members across functions and markets

  • Take ownership of tasks and contribute ideas to improve processes



What We’re Looking For
  • Undergraduate (final year) or recent graduate in any relevant discipline

  • Leadership experience in student organizations or university clubs

  • Experience in external relations, fundraising, or sales (part-time or internships) is an advantage

  • International exposure (study abroad, exchange programs, travel programs, or global projects)

  • Experience in event planning, hospitality, customer service, or operations

  • Volunteer leadership or long-term community involvement

  • Strong attention to detail and comfort working with customers, data, documents, and systems

  • Dependable, proactive, and takes ownership

  • Works well in multicultural, team-based environments

  • Clear communicator and open to learning

  • Has a long-term career development plan and ambition to grow in regional business, operations, or commercial roles
